Meet Kevin and Joshua
Kevin Listen: I started training Martial Arts at age 19. I was first introduced to Jeet Kune Do via friends and books. I started training in Tae Kwon Do in 2005 and have since trained in various styles of TKD. Once I earned my Black Belt and an instructor certification in Tae Kwon Do I branched out my training. I began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2013 under Ty Gay with Redline Jiu-Jitsu and Isshinryu Karate in 2015 under Sensei Bamper and the Texas Isshinryu Karate Kai. My most recent rank is 4th degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do under Grandmaster Mike Dillard. I have also trained in Boxing, Kickboxing, and started training again in Jeet Kune Do under instructors Drew Bower, Sarah Lobben, and Master Paul Webb. I believe that all training is beneficial and that being a well rounded martial artist with a purpose is important to staying safe. Martial Arts can benefit anyone and it is never too late to start. I love teaching and empowering people through all the benefits Martial Arts can bring.
Joshua Crocker: I started martial arts when I was 6-years-old. Martial arts has been a huge part of my life ever since. Growing up, martial arts helped me grow my confidence, focus, and self-control. Even now being on the mats lets me continue to grow. I earned my junior black belt in September 2016 and my first degree black belt in September 2018. As of October 2021 I am a second degree black belt with Integrity Martial Arts. I work on the media projects at our dojo. In addition to martial arts I love to spend time writing and at this time have published two books. I know self-defense is for everyone, because everyone has the right to stay safe and I aim to bring that mindset to teaching, encouraging everyone I meet to grow and learn.
